General Information: Whitman-Walker Clinic is a non-profit community-based health organization serving the Washington, D.C. metropolitan region. Established by and for the gay and lesbian community, our Clinic is comprised of diverse volunteers and staff who provide or facilitate the delivery of high quality, comprehensive, accessible health care and community services. Whitman-Walker Clinic is especially committed to ending the suffering of all those infected and affected by HIV/AIDS. WWC Lesbian Services Program (LSP) is committed to meeting the health and wellness needs of lesbians, bisexual women, and transgender people in the Washington, DC metro area, regardless of ability to pay. Support Group: Women Coming Out of Marriage: Supportive and confidential place for women who are or have been in marriage or primarily heterosexual relationships who may be contemplating or are in relationships with women. Meetings are each Monday at 7:00pm in Virginia. Contact: Coming Out of Marriage Voice Mail Lesbian Peer Counseling is provided to women who seek support on issues such as sexual orientation, family, relationships, workplace and self-esteem. Individual sessions can be scheduled at our DC and Northern Virginia locations. Attendees are asked for a donation of $10 per session, but these services are provided to women regardless of their ability to pay.
